Each session, Sandi asks "Who wants to write in the book?" as a way to record which songs we sing each time. She always reminds whomever is writing that they get to spell the names of the songs however it makes sense to them and she will figure it out. It's a great opportunity for kids to practice writing and to have a fun responsibility. And, especially in the Wednesday group, when no kid volunteers our host Toni makes writing in the book a visual delight and meditation (which the kids love to emulate too!).
