Jon was a song writer and musician of distinction here in the SF Bay Area.  He wrote and sang songs about peace, justice and Labor.  He was born into a family of folks who fought long and hard for those values. He taught for many years at the Capp Street Center in the Mission district of San Francisco and his songs have left a fine legacy.  He wrote the song “We Do The Work” featured in the PBS series of the same name.
