Kitka, our Eastern European singing circle of 8 very talented women, presents it’s annual holiday concert, Wintersongs by Candlelight in St. Paul’s Church, 8pm Friday ,December 13, 2013. This is a gorgeous set of mostly acapella songs from unusual sources mostly of Eastern European origin. Rich harmonies in exotic languages. They have traveled extensively collecting this beautiful music from the grandmothers who still sing it. You’ll hear Bulgarian, Romanian, Yiddish, Georgian, Turkish, Russian and more.
