Shira Kammen will be leading a round singing circle at the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 2 to 5pm.  She will be teaching from her wide repertoire of seldom heard rounds from Elizabethan, Medeival, Celtic and rounds that are sweet or fun to sing.  Shira is a musician’s musician and can captivate everyone who comes into her presence.  She has been the music director for the California Revels for quite a few years and has an extensive library of books and recordings available.  She has collaborated with many of our wonderful local groups, such as Ensemble Alcatraz, Kitka and more.  She plays all kinds of violins from vielle to fiddle.  She sings, plays many instruments and is an engaging teacher. I Couldn’t recommend this higher.  I would recommend this for adults & older children with some music experience.  $20 registration fee.  Contact the Freight at www.freightandsalvage.org
