Toshi, the amazing wife of Pete Seeger, passed away on Tuesday, July 9,2013 at the age of 91. They were just a few days short of their 70th wedding anniversary.  Toshi was the engine behind Pete’s career.  She managed everything from the gigs & concerts to the cooking for hundreds of folks that came through their Clearwater and other fund raising events and celebrations.  They have 4 children and several grandchildren. Toshi was also a filmmaker.  They were married in 1943 when Toshi was 21 years old and Pete, 24.  What a beautiful legacy Toshi has left for us all.
